SYRIZA: Gov't shamelessly neglects public health and the measures to save human lives

"Ιn an interview on Tuesday with the public broadcaster ERT, Interior Minister Makis Voridis called the requisitioning of private clinics 'a needless expense'," main opposition SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance said in an announcement on Tuesday. "The government's officials shamelessly neglect public health and the necessary measures to save human lives," it added.

SYRIZA underlined that "with ICU patients reaching almost 700 and another 100 intubated outside ICUs, Attica's hospitals are on the verge of collapse and the requisitioning of private clinics is an obvious duty".

Ruling New Democracy daily proves that it is a dangerous government, SYRIZA said.
