Pappas: SYRIZA will be the first party in the European elections

"SYRIZA will be the first party in the European elections," Minister for Digital Policy, Information and Media Nikos Pappas said on Wednesday in an interview with public broadcaster ERT.

The Minister reiterated that the national elections will be held at the end of the four-year term and has criticized New Democracy's (ND) move to ask the Greek National Council for Radio and Television (NCRTV) to ban the transmission of SYRIZA's central pre-election rally at Syntagma Square.

Regarding the Bank of Greece governor, Yannis Stournaras, he said that he was the most unsuccessful Finance Minister during the crisis adding that when the economy performs well, Stournaras always makes recommendations.
