Georgiadis: Open election race and harsh battle ahead of us

"Ahead of us we have a totally open election race and a harsh battle" stated main opposition New Democracy (ND) vice president Adonis Georgiadis in an interview with Athens-Macedonian News Agency on Monday.

"We are struggling to persuade even the last citizen, those who voted for us and those that have not" as we do not have signed any contract with anyone who voted us that will vote for us forever".

Georgiadis said that on July 7 the Greeks will choose which Greece do they prefer "the dark Greece of Tsipras or the bright Greece of Mitsotakis".

Asked on the priorities of the next government if ND wins the elections, Georgiadis said that "The reduction on taxes, the safety and tackling bureaucracy will be implemented immediately".
