Achtsioglou: It is obvious that ND leader Mitsotakis is avoiding the debate

"It is obvious that New Democracy (ND) leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis is avoiding a TV debate because it will reveal the aspects of his programme that are totally antisocial," SYRIZA spokesperson Effie Achtsioglou stated on Tuesday in an interview with public ERT3 radio.

"SYRIZA is fighting a very difficult battle which is also open," she said, adding that the crucial and politically honest thing in national elections is to display your programme clearly, to present all its aspects and be ready to answer to questions on it, so that it becomes clear who it favours and supports and who it will bring in a worse position. The people should be able to chose between the two political plans" she said.
