Very high risk of fire in Greece on Wednesday

The risk of fire is very high (category 4) in Greece on Wednesday, according to the Civil Protection general secretariat.

Regions on red alert include:

- Central Macedonia and particularly the peninsula of Chalkidiki

-The region of Thessaly, including the Sporades islands

-The region of Central Greece

-The region of Attica and

-The region of the Peloponnese and particularly the prefecture of Corinth
