Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias is to travel to Brussels to attend the EU Foreign Affairs Council taking place on Monday, July 15, the foreign ministry announced on Sunday.
The EU foreign ministers are scheduled to discuss Turkey's illegal actions in the Eastern Mediterranean and the adoption of measures against Turkey.
They will also talk about developments relating to Iran's nuclear deal, or the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), as well as the latest developments in Sudan, Ethiopia, Iraq and Venuezuela, and foreign policy aspects of migration. A dinner with the foreign minister of Moldova will follow.
Dendias is to have a series of meetings with his counterparts on the sidelines of the Council, the foreign ministry said.
