SYRIZA leader Tsipras meets with ESM chief Regling
On his part, Tsipras stressed that, as head of the main opposition, he will support any serious effort to reduce the agreed targets for primary surpluses.
Main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras met on Wednesday with European Stability Mechanism (ESM) Managing Director Klaus Regling.
Regling thanked Tsipras for his cooperation, the successful completion of the programme, the restoration of the Greek economy to growth rates and the guarantee of Greece's sustainable and unhindered access to international financial markets, while reiterating his position that the country should remain strictly committed to meeting primary surplus targets.
