Achtsioglou calls on the government to clarify its plan for social security system

"The new government needs to clarify its plan for the social security system," SYRIZA's State MP Effie Achtsioglou said on Sunday during the discussion of the government policy framework in the Parliament and added:

"There is a picture of a huge and generalized social insecurity that cannot be perpetuated. We will oppose to any action that will undermine the rights and income of workers, pensioners and the unemployed."

"The government is talking about tax cuts and meeting surplus targets, but it is not explaining where it will find 1.8 billion euros in 2020 to proceed with these tax cuts," she said.
