Interior Min asks local authorities to provide air-conditioned havens during hot weather

Interior Minister Takis Theodorikakos asked local authorities to take all necessary measures during the hot weather and open to the public, especially vulnerable members of society, appropriate air-conditioned facilities they own.

The minister made the request on Friday morning during a telephone conversation with the president of the central union of the municipalities of Greece Giorgos Patoulis and the mayors of Athens, Piraeus and Kallithea.
