SYRIZA: We will oppose to any policy against human rights and the principles of international and European law

SYRIZA accused New Democracy (ND) on Sunday of ignorance regarding the refugee-migration issue.

"As long as the government cannot realize that it is a European issue, as long as it considers it a national or bilateral problem with Turkey, as long as it considers migration the 'greatest threat', we do not expect to understand or agree with the policies implemented by SYRIZA in previous years. But it cannot accuse the previous government nor play political games against oppressed people and Greek society," SYRIZA said and added:

"We are stating once again we will oppose to any policy that is threatening human rights and the principles of international and European law."
