Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Brussels for EU Summit

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is in Brussels, where he will take part in the European People's Party (EPP) Summit and afterwards attend the EU Summit.

Mitsotakis intends to raise the migration issue and underline the need for the sharing of the burden among EU member-states.

The prime minister will also point out that it is the Greek government's priority to accelerate asylum procedures and return those not eligible for asylum to Turkey.

On Turkey's invasion of Syria, Mitsotakis said that the Greek government is in total alignment with EU in demanding an immediate ceasefire.
