Tsipras: EU decision to not start accession talks with N. Macedonia "a message of weakness"

"The European Council's decision to refuse to start accession negotiations with North Macedonia is a message of weakness and defeat for the European edifice," main opposition SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras said in a post on the internet on Friday.

SYRIZA's leader also noted that "European values are sometimes stronger in the Balkans than in Brussels," underlining that "we will continue to struggle for the future and unity of Europe. We owe it to our peoples".
