Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou elected as the new President of the Hellenic Republic

The voting procedure for the election of the new President of the Hellenic Republic was concluded on Wednesday.

Ekaterini Sakellaropoulou was elected as the new President of the Hellenic Republic with 261 votes, out of 300 deputies in the Greek parliament.

Sakellaropoulou is to assume office on March 13.
