Fragogiannis and Volkswagen officials in Thassos for electromobility project

Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for economic diplomacy Costas Fragogiannis and a delegation of Volkswagen are visiting the island of Thassos to examine the possibility of a project on the electromobility on the islands, a foreign ministry announcement said on Wednesday.

The visit to Thassos is held in the context of the implementation of the Greek government's plan on electromobility and of the German car industry's study referring to the networks and traffic on the islands.

Deliberations between the two sides will be held on Thursday in the city of Kavala and final decisions will be reached after the evaluation of the facts and the completion of the study. The interest of major companies for Greece, underlined the same announcement, indicates that the government's moves towards the strengthening of extroversion are bearing fruit.
