Arsenal of heavy weapons found at a house in Sepolia

An entire arsenal of heavy weapons has been found, according to police, at a house in Sepolia, during an ongoing operation by the Counter-Terrorism Service, as well as in another house in Exarchia related to the Kurdish organization DHKP-C.

As announced by the Greek police, the operation is being carried out in cooperation with the National Intelligence Service. So far, more than 20 people have been brought in for questionning (26 according to initial sources).

The weapons were hidden in an underground tunnel located beneath the apartment in Sepolia. Police and army explosive ordnance experts are already on the scene looking for weapons. After the end of the operation, there will be a briefing.
